A united database of startups and innovators from around the world to help with fighting against COVID-19

Task

In a pandemic, timely information is an important aspect of the response to the viral threat. Coronavirus is a problem requiring new and quick solutions, therefore, the timing of communication between thematic startups and users is essential. Accordingly, there was a need to create a single online resource for exchanging information with all interested parties. A special platform containing a complete map of innovation regarding the status of the virus, the fight against it and its consequences.

Solution

StartupBlink in collaboration with the Healthcare Innovation Exchange, a UNAIDS program designed to deliver innovation to the public health service, and the Moscow City Innovation Agency introduced an innovation map for the fight against coronavirus.

The platform is a database of startups and innovators, which allows you to learn about new projects and gives you the opportunity to connect and create solutions in this field. The map contains information on five categories: prevention, diagnosis, treatment, information and adaptation of life and business.

Result

Over 500 innovations and developer contacts have already been presented on the platform in the public domain. The Health Innovation Exchange is planning to publish a report with a list of selected innovations to be presented to partner countries.
